Khmer handicraft is characterized by the mix of ancient techniques and methods, which have survived through many generations, and recent technical approaches and influences.

Since its creation in 2005, SILK & PEPPER offers a window on the richness of Cambodian handicraft with its wide range of home interior silk items. We work exclusively with local craftsmen, located throughout the whole country, and respect ethically correct rules. Cambodia, famous for its ancient weaving techniques, is one of the few remaining countries where silk is still woven by hand, making each piece unique. Each item has its own story, from the research of material to the selection of designs and colors.

All the products Silk & Pepper are made in a limited quantity. Inspired by combined influences from Asian and Western countries, our collection is unique thanks to its mix of materials and colors. Our range brings comfort and elegance and smoothly integrates to any home décor.

We are now promoting Khmer silk throughout the world, by offering a wide range of products especially designed to answer today needs and trends, while respecting ethically correct rules. Silk and Pepper is an active member of the Cambodian Silk Forum (CSF). Created in 2003, this association gathers silk producers, weavers and designers to support the development and promotion of Khmer silk sector by producing high ranged and trendy collections of clothing and home interior linen.
